Alamo Drafthouse Unleash Trailer for Mickey Keating’s Foray into the True Crime Horror Genre With ‘INVADER’

The thrilling trailer for Invader, director Mickey Keating‘s (Offseason, Darling, Pod) latest bone-chilling foray into the true crime horror genre, has arrived via Alamo Drafthouse. Keating, known for his lean yet impactful storytelling in films like Offseason and Darling, joins forces with producer Joe Swanberg (V/H/S, You’re Next) to deliver a shock to the system.

Starring newcomers Vero Maynex, Colin Huerta and Ruby Vallejo, Invader follows a young woman searching for her missing cousin in the Chicago suburbs. But she soon realizes a sinister darkness lies beneath this idyllic neighborhood, leading her into a nightmare beyond her worst fears.

With its stark cinematography and sleek style, Invader looks to continue Keating’s signature approach of maximum scares with minimum fluff.

The film is also produced by Eddie Linker (Little Sister, Depraved) and Amanda Brinton and fans hungry for a chilling slice of suburban horror can look forward to catching it when it invades theaters beginning March 15 with an exclusive one-week engagement at select Alamo Drafthouse Locations: New York / Alamo Drafthouse Lower Manhattan; Los Angeles / Alamo Drafthouse Downtown LA; Austin / Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar; Chicago / Alamo Drafthouse Wrigleyville.
