Feeder Announce New Double Album ‘Black / Red’ and UK Headline Tour Dates for March 2024

Feeder have today announced a forthcoming double album, “Black / Red” which will release on 5 April 2024 on Big Teeth Music via Townsend Music / Absolute Label Services. The LP marks the band’s final release as part of a trilogy of albums following their UK Top 5 album “Torpedo” in 2022. In anticipation of the incoming album, the band has released a new double A-side single ‘Playing With Fire’ / ‘ELF’.

‘ELF’, which lead vocalist and guitarist Grant Nicholas has branded a “call to arms”, and ‘Playing With Fire’s “rollercoaster ride of self-discovery”, once again showcase the band’s flair for catchy melodies and live-wire riffs. The new tracks on “Black / Red” all share the same sense of wide-open space, freedom and possibility, coupled with the optimistic energy that first lit the fuse for “Torpedo”. Cohesive and connected rather than a concept LP, “Black / Red” serves as an extension of the conversation sparked on “Torpedo”, as well as the culmination of a prolific songwriting period that encapsulates a very specific moment in time for the band. Feeder’s first-ever double album proved to be the perfect formula to not only realise what these songs mean together in the present day, but also to showcase the breadth of sound they’ve honed over the decades, combining muscular riffs, soaring melodies and heartfelt emotion.

Commenting on the latest album, Nicholas said:

“I really wanted the album to be split in two parts for the listener, CD1 and CD2, black and red rather than be one long player, almost like a musical production with an interval. Making it was a very creative time for me as a writer and a real labour of love. Making the Black / Red album for me personally was a musical pilgrimage and I feel the end result is undeniable Feeder.”

“Black / Red” is released on 5th April 2024 and will be available on digital, CD and vinyl which you can pre-order here. You can also Listen to ‘Playing With Fire’ / ‘ELF’ here.

Feeder will also be touring the album through the UK in 2024. Full dates below. Tickets are available now with pre-orders of the album here and go on general sale from this Friday 27th October.
