Don’t Move a Muscle! Shudder’s ‘Quicksand’ Trailer Teases a Gripping Fight for Survival and Love

Prepare yourself for a gripping fight for survival and love as Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thrillers and the supernatural, just debuted the trailer for Andrés Beltrán’s (Tarumama) English-language Colombian anxiety-inducing survival thriller Quicksand.

Directed by Beltrán, from a script written by Matt Pitts (“Westworld”), and starring Carolina Gaitàn (Encanto) and Allan Hawco (“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan”), the Shudder original film centers on an American couple who, on the brink of divorce, travel to Colombia for a work conference. While on a hike through the rainforest, a storm causes them to become trapped in a pit of quicksand. Unable to move, it becomes a struggle for survival as they battle the elements of the jungle and a venomous snake, in order to escape.

Quicksand will make its exclusive streaming debut Friday, July 14 on Shudder and will also be available to stream on AMC+. In the meantime, we’ll leave you to try and keep as calm and still as you possibly can whilst enjoying the aforementioned first trailer.
