It’s certainly not ‘Fast and Furious’ for all movie productions with some taking so much longer than other to go from page to big screen. This is exactly the case for Vin Diesel’s upcoming movie, The Last Witch Hunter with Academy Award-nominated scriptwriter Melisa Wallack (Dallas Buyers Club, Mirror Mirror) brought on board.
With Breck Eisner (The Crazies) attached since last year to helm this supernatural thriller, Wallack has been brought into the fold to wax up an original script from Cory Goodman (Priest), which was rewritten by D.W. Harper (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters).
Diesel will play an immortal witch hunter teaming up with his natural enemy, a female witch, to stop the covens of NYC from unleashing a plague on humanity. We’ll keep you up to date should any more details emerge and in the meantime have a look at this board of concept art that Diesel posted himself recently on his Facebook page.
