Actual news about Star Wars Episode VII has finally surfaced. That’s right; ACTUAL NEWS and not just some old wives tales from the ever spinning rumor mill.
Director JJ Abrams spoke at the Television Critics Association press tour last night, announcing that the screenplay for the most anticipated science fiction film of the decade is officially ready. “We’re working really hard and we’ve got our script and we’re in deep prep”, Abrams confirmed with reporters.
The usually secretive film maker also addressed one of the more popular rumours doing the rounds right now, confirming that Jesse Plemons is in talks for a role in Star Wars Episode VII. While his official casting is yet to be confirmed, Plemons has already made quite a name for himself on TV, most recently for recurring roles in Friday Night Lights and Breaking Bad. The twenty-five year old actor is also no stranger to the big screen, appearing as Philip Seymour Hoffman’s son in Paul Thomas Anderson’s critically acclaimed feature The Master.
Speculation is rife but Plemons’s age and likeness suggest that he could perhaps be cast as Luke Skywalker’s son. Only time and leaks on set will tell but for now, click here to read more about the future of Star Wars Episode VII. http://cinemachords.com/star-wars-episode-vii-a-new-start/
