Inside Llewyn Davis (January 24) Ashley Norris
The Coens are back in what has been described by some as their “most Coeny film to date” about a folk singer trying to make it in 1961 New York. Oscar Isaac plays the eponymous role Llewyn Davis and is alongside a whole host of talent like Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund, Justin Timberlake and long time Coen collaborator John Goodman. With the most toe tapping of soundtracks, a beautiful but drained colour palette and a cat, this is Coens all over. The reaction from Cannes and every festival since have been glowing meaning that this is one to definitely catch.
