Dirty Harry Gets Hairier in WolfCop Featurette

The CineCoup Accelerator competition was set up as a funding and distribution program for Canadian features awarding winners with up to $1 million in project financing and a guaranteed release in Cineplex theatres. Last year’s outright CineCoup winner was the indie horror comedy, WolfCop which is now rubbing its hairy hands in anticipation of the aforementioned theatrical release and has just unleashed a behind the scenes featurette/trailer.

Written and directed by Lowell Dean and starring  Leo FafardAmy Matysio and Jonathan Cherry the film follows alcoholic cop Lou (Fafard) who suddenly awakes in unfamiliar surrounding and finds his life turned upside down as everything takes a hair raising turn for the worst. This is helmer Dean’s second feature film following his previous project, the zombie thriller 13 Eerie. His short films have also won over audiences at festivals around the globe.

This looks like a howl load of fun and we’ll leave you with the latest released trailer/featurette followed by a previously released concept trailer.

A one-sheet poster has also just been released for the film coming from the skilled hand of Hobo with a Shotgun artist, Tom Hodge. (Click for a larger version)
