Shed Seven have shared ‘The Centre Of My Everything’, the sophomore track lifted from their forthcoming self-titled seventh studio album, due out 8 January 2027 via Cooking Vinyl. The York band have also announced a series of intimate in-store appearances and acoustic sets across the UK to coincide with the album’s release.

The track arrives on the heels of a much-welcomed late-career renaissance for the veteran York outfit. In 2024, the band secured their first-ever UK Number One album with A Matter Of Time—a milestone compounded just nine months later when Liquid Gold also topped the charts, landing the group in the rare company of acts such as The Beatles, Elton John, and David Bowie to score two Number One records within a single calendar year.
Where lead single ‘Stand Together’ was built around a bigger, guitar-led sound, ‘The Centre Of My Everything’ reveals a broader, more atmospheric side to the new album. Pairing lush, sweeping strings and an expansive chorus with a steady, Pearl Jam-esque acoustic backbone and a melodic electric guitar lead, the track taps squarely into the band’s proven instinct for massive, chantalong anthems in the vein of ‘Chasing Rainbows’ and ‘High Hopes’.
