Black Bear has today debuted the first teaser trailer for Wife & Dog, Guy Ritchie’s forthcoming violent thriller starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rosamund Pike and Anthony Hopkins.
Set against the British aristocracy, the film centres on the Fairbank family and a battle for succession that leads to betrayal and murder.
Cumberbatch, Pike and Hopkins are joined by Cosmo Jarvis, James Norton and Paddy Considine in the ensemble cast.
Wife & Dog marks Ritchie’s return to UK cinemas following The Gentlemen, which was released in 2019. Ritchie has since returned to the world of The Gentlemen with the Netflix series of the same name, while his recent television work also includes “MobLand” for Paramount+.
Ritchie wrote and directed the film, and produces alongside Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg.
Wife & Dog will open in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on February 19, 2027.
