Brand-New BEAST Trailer: Former MMA Champion Faces High-Stakes Showdown to Protect His Brother

Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment Group have released the latest official trailer for Beast, the upcoming sports drama scheduled for U.S. theaters on April 10, 2026.

The film is directed by Tyler Atkins (Ocean Boy) and written by David Frigerio and Russell Crowe, based on a story by Frigerio. Producers on the project include John Schwarz, David Frigerio, Michael Schwarz, and Tim O’Hair.

The cast features Daniel MacPhersonLuke HemsworthBren FosterAmy SharkMojean AriaKelly Gale, and Academy Award winner Russell Crowe.

Beast centers on a former MMA champion who returns to the sport after his younger brother faces danger. Reuniting with his former trainer, he prepares for a high-stakes match against the current title-holder. The narrative focuses on the fight’s consequences for his career and personal life.

Principal photography took place in Bangkok, Thailand, at the Impact Arena. The production collaborated with the combat sports organization One Championship, incorporating footage from its January 24, 2025, Friday Fights event as part of the film’s key sequences. Additional scenes were filmed during the week-long tournament.

Grindstone Entertainment Group presents the film, produced by Broken Open Pictures and Deeper Water Films, in association with Armagh Films, Media Finance Capital, Three 777 Films, Stan Entertainment, Black Pearl Productions, In the Tent Productions, Spectrum Entertainment, and Solution Entertainment Group.
