Rowan Atkinson is back after the 2022 hit series “Man vs Bee,” and this time, rather than matchbox-sized mayhem, the chaos comes in a pint-sized package. Netflix has today dropped the official trailer for the forthcoming four-part mini-series “Man vs Baby,” in which Atkinson reprises his role as Trevor Bingley, the hapless housesitter whose career has never been short on calamity.
After his ill-fated stint battling a relentless insect in “Man vs Bee,” Trevor has decided to trade in the chaos for what he hopes will be a calmer life as a school caretaker. But, as was to be expected, peace proves fleeting. When a lucrative offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas lands on his lap, Trevor can’t resist. And just when he thinks his housesitting skills are back under control, the holiday season throws him an unexpected curveball in the shape of a baby left behind after the school nativity.
With a penthouse to protect and a baby to burp, Trevor’s Christmas promises more mayhem than merriment when “Man vs Baby” debuts on Netflix on 11th December, comprising four 30-minute episodes.
Co-starring alongside Atkinson are Claudie Blakley, Susannah Fielding, Alanah Bloor, Sunil Patel, Steve Edge, Sunetra Sarker, Ashley Jenson and Joseph Balderrama.
The series is created and written by Will Davies and Rowan Atkinson, with executive producers Chris Clark and Will Davies, series producer Kate Fasulo, and direction by David Kerr. Produced by HouseSitter Productions, the series promises a festive mix of mischief and bumbling disaster that fans of “Man vs Bee” are sure to enjoy.
