‘Anaconda’ Trailer: Jack Black and Paul Rudd Tangle with Giant Snakes in Riotous Reimagining

The Anaconda franchise is slithering back into cinemas, this time adding a comedic spin to the mix. The sixth film in the series, set for release on December 25, 2025, sees Jack Black and Paul Rudd team up as Doug and Griff, two childhood best friends who’ve always dreamed of remaking the original 1997 cult classic Anaconda.

But when they finally head to the Amazon to bring their passion project to life, what starts as a fun homage quickly becomes a fight for survival.

Directed by Tom Gormican (That Awkward Moment), the film is written by Gormican and Kevin Etten. Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Kevin Etten, and Gormican are producing, with Samson Mücke on board as executive producer. Rounding out the ensemble cast are Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello.

Will Doug and Griff survive their own dream movie, or will the jungle have the last laugh? Watch the trailer now to see the chaos unfold.
