RLJE Films & Shudder Unearth Dracula’s Legacy in ‘Abraham’s Boys’ Trailer

The world is getting smaller. Closing in on us.

A succulent new chapter in the Dracula saga is set to unfold as RLJE Films and Shudder — AMC Networks’ premier horror platform — unveil the trailer for Abraham’s Boys. Written and directed by Natasha Kermani (LuckyImitation Girl), this spine-chilling thriller delves into the dark and turbulent legacy of the Van Helsing family.

Based on the eponymous short story by acclaimed author Joe Hill, Abraham’s Boys continues the dark legacy of Bram Stoker’s iconic Dracula — but this time, the fangs are out for Van Helsing’s descendants.

Abraham’s Boys follows Max and Rudy Van Helsing, played by Judah Mackey (“The Young and the Restless,” “Perry Mason”) and Brady Hepner (Black PhoneGrowing Up Gorman), who have grown up under the oppressive and often puzzling control of their father, Abraham (Titus Welliver, “Bosch,” “Sons of Anarchy”). Unaware of their father’s shadowy past, the brothers begin to uncover the violent truths behind his history with Dracula. As their father’s growing paranoia spirals out of control, the brothers are forced to confront a terrifying legacy they were never meant to inherit. Jocelin Donahue (The House of the Devil, The Last Stop in Yuma County) and Aurora Perrineau (“Kaos,” “Westworld”) also star.

Produced by Tim Wu and James Howard Herron of Illium Pictures, alongside James Harris and Leonara Darby of Tea Shop Productions, Abraham’s Boys also boasts executive producers Titus Welliver, Joe Hill, and Mark Lane.

Abraham’s Boys will release exclusively in theaters this July 11.
