Dear J.J. Abrams: 4 Rules to Make Star Wars Great Again

Prescott Harvey, a creative agency employee and former production assistant on Mission: Impossible III has spent most of his recent years asking himself a question on many peoples’ minds. Why was the original Star Wars trilogy so awesome and the new movies just so, well, terrible?

The Sincerely, Truman staff member came to the conclusion that the characters in the original films always found themselves somewhere extremely remote making the environment just as much a threat as the empire. As a result of his years and years of pondering Harvey came up with his “secrets to Star Wars success” leading him to create an animated open letter to J.J. Abrams laying down the four golden rules he needs to follow to make sure that Episode VII doesn’t fall down the same holes as the last three offerings of the franchise.

Enjoy the video that he has come up with below and, if you agree with him, you can voice your support at www.dearjjabrams.com. Should Sincerely, Truman reach a grand total of one million virtual signatures, they will march on over to Disney’s Headquarters in Burbank (with a camera crew in tow) to hand deliver their petition along with a copy of the video… Use the force…
