Following the success of their slice-of-life anthem ‘Full Circle,’ rising duo Good Health Good Wealth have shared their latest single, ‘The Cafe,’ further establishing their knack for turning everyday moments into music. The track marks a significant step in their career, which has already seen Radio 1 support from Jack Saunders and Sian Eleri, a Radio X session, and shows alongside Noisy and Hard-Fi. The band also earned a spot in The Sun’s New Faces For 2025, solidifying their growing reputation in the indie scene.
‘The Cafe’ transports listeners from trendy breakfast spots to a nostalgic, local café where the smell of sizzling sausages and clinking cutlery sets the stage for an unconventional break-up song. Here, the emotional complexity of a relationship’s end is explored through a meeting between two people who can’t quite sever their connection. Lead vocalist Bruce Breakey’s distinctive spoken word delivery evolves into a soulful, impassioned flow, while guitarist/producer Simon Kuzmickas weaves sparse beats, melancholic slide guitar, and a cathartic psych-rock finale to complete the track’s atmospheric sound.
Bruce elaborates on the track, “A break-up only works, at least from my experience, if you cut it off completely. The odd catch-up back down your favourite cafe is never going to be that simple. This song is about navigating that tricky grey area between the initial break-up and the actual break-up. As comforting, familiar or exciting it may be to meet up for a chat, someone has to rip off the plaster eventually.”
Both ‘The Cafe’ and ‘Full Circle’ serve as the perfect harbinger of what’s to come on Good Health Good Wealth’s forthcoming EP, with the duo blending relatable urban tales with a mix of contemporary electronica and ’90s influences. Their sound draws from artists like Ian Dury, The Streets, and Madness, but with a modern twist that makes their music feel firmly rooted in 2025.
While Bruce hails from East London, Simon’s journey from Vilnius, Lithuania, to the UK is a key part of their unique dynamic. Raised on British culture, Simon found himself at home among the country’s dry humour and biting pessimism—traits that would later influence the band’s music. The pair’s fateful meeting in a pub only added to their natural connection.

This February, they’ll headline a sold-out show at London’s The Lower Third, followed by a performance in Birmingham with Oneda.
