Noteworthy Nods: CinemaChords’ Top 30 Singles Of 2024

As any seasoned CinemaChords reader will know, over the past 12 months, we’ve been busy immersing ourselves in the music scene—listening to, reviewing, and interviewing as many incredible musicians as possible. From those keeping the heartbeat of the industry alive to those on the verge of a mainstream breakthrough, we’ve been fortunate to explore it all. Now, with 2024 winding down (and the holiday season creeping up like an overzealous Christmas elf), it’s time to sift through every batch of Noteworthy Nods we’ve received—from loyal readers and streaming platforms alike—and narrow down the hundreds of tracks we’ve discovered to a carefully curated list of just 30.

As always, our aim with Noteworthy Nods is not to deliver a definitive ranking of the year’s chart-toppers, but rather to celebrate the songs that have stayed with us long after their initial release. You know, the ones we’ve played on repeat until we know them better than our own holiday shopping lists.

So, without further ado (and with a dash of festive cheer), here are the top 30 tracks that have made their mark in 2024:
