Official Trailer Debut for Jérémy Clapin’s Thrilling Sui Generis Sci-Fi Vision ‘MEANWHILE ON EARTH’

Metrograph Pictures have today debuted the official trailer for Jérémy Clapin‘s (Academy Award®-nominated Best Animated Feature I Lost My Body) Meanwhile on Earth, a fresh sci-fi vision that challenges traditional narratives.

Written and directed by Clapin, the film tracks the experiences of Elsa (Megan Northam, in her first leading role), along with her family, as they navigate challenges following the disappearance of Elsa’s brother Franck, an astronaut who vanished during his first mission. While stargazing one night, Elsa is taken aback when she receives communication from Franck.

However, her joy is short-lived when she discovers the malevolent and sinister forces behind Franck’s unexpected reappearance, forcing her to reckon with the lengths she is willing to go to for her estranged sibling, whom she had presumed to be irrecoverably lost.

The film is produced by Marc Du Pontavice and will release in theaters this coming September 13, 2024.
