Taylor Sheridan’s “TULSA KING” Season 2 Welcomes Frank Grillo to the Lineup

Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ original series “Tulsa King,” starring and executive produced by Sylvester Stallone, has begun filming its second season in Oklahoma and Atlanta. Joining the cast as a new series regular is Frank Grillo (Hounds of War, Copshop, Warrior), with the show set to return this fall.

“Tulsa King” centers on New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, portrayed by Stallone, who is released from prison after serving a 25-year sentence and exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma by his crime family. Suspecting betrayal, Dwight assembles an unlikely crew to establish a new criminal empire in Tulsa. Grillo will play Kansas City mobster Bill Bevilaqua, who has interests in Tulsa and becomes embroiled in Dwight’s schemes.

Stallone and Grillo star alongside an extensive ensemble cast that includes Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Tatiana Zappardino, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.

Sheridan serves as creator and executive producer. Craig Zisk, who served as producing director for Season 2, also executive produces alongside Terence Winter, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Braden Aftergood, and Keith Cox. The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.

CBS will air Season 1 this summer before the Season 2 premiere on Paramount+ this fall.
