The Father. The Son. The Sydney Sweeney in First Trailer for Religious Psychological Chiller ‘IMMACULATE’

The Father. The Son. The Sydney Sweeney.

Neon has just dropped the first official trailer for Michael Mohan‘s religious psychological chiller Immaculate, starring Sydney Sweeney as she reteams with Mohan after The Voyeurs and “Everything Sucks!”

Directed by Mohan, from a screenplay written by Andrew Lobel, the film centers on Cecilia (Sweeney) a woman of devout faith who is warmly welcomed to the picture-perfect Italian countryside where she is offered a new role at an illustrious convent. But the longer she spends time at her seemingly perfect new home, the more clearer it becomes to Cecilia that the convent harbors dark and horrifying secrets.

The films also stars Simona Tabasco (“The White Lotus”), Álvaro Morte (“Money Heist”) and Benedetta Porcaroli.

Sweeney and Jonathan Davino serve as producers for the Fifty-Fifty Films banner together with David Bernad (The Mule, “The White Lotus”), who devised the project with Sweeney after having worked together on “The White Lotus,” and Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler are producing for the Black Bear banner. Black Bear’s John Friedberg and Christopher Casanova are executive producing with Will Greenfield (“Euphoria”).

Immaculate is slated for a 22 March theatrical release and until then, we’ll leave you with the aforementioned first trailer.
