Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2023 – Batch 32

Thursday has rolled around again, so it’s that time of the week when we unveil another selection of superb new tracks that instantly got stuck in our head’s the moment we popped them on. Thanks as always to anyone who submitted a recommendation for this week’s playlist.

Last week’s ‘Nods’ included new drops from Colour TV, Shed Seven, The Kid and I, Kula Shaker to name just a few (and you can still check that selection out over here if you missed it). And today’s choice assortment features new tunes from the likes of Cast, Ciel, 86TVs, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and the HUGELY anticipated first new studio song from The Beatles since 1995.

As usual, this section is primarily about championing emerging talent, so please show your support for any new music you enjoy on any of these playlists. Sharing your appreciation for musicians on social media only takes a second, doesn’t cost a thing and goes a very long way towards helping musicians. At the same time, we’re also always more than grateful for any suggestions/recommendations any of you might have and we’d love to hear from you over on InstagramFacebook, or Twitter. You can also contact me directly on Twitter here where my DM door is always wide open.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist below featuring the likes of Turin BrakesEmbraceThe SherlocksStanleysThe K’sThe NativeThe Clause, and many more.

It’s time to sign off but don’t be a stranger! Please do send any recommendations or track submissions to us over on Twitter and Instagram. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy the tracks we’ve picked out for you this week.
