Haunting ‘THE ACCURSED’ Trailer Beckons You Into The Devil’s Abode

Screen Media, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (Nasdaq: CSSE) company, has dropped the official trailer for Kevin Lewis‘s (Willy’s Wonderland starring Nicolas Cage) upcoming supernatural backwoods shocker The Accursed.

Directed by Lewis, from a screenplay written by Rob Kennedy (Midnight Man), and starring Mena Suvari (American Beauty, What Lies Below, Spun), Sarah Grey (“The Order”, Power Rangers), Meg Foster (They Live, Blind Fury, The Lords of Salem), and Alexis Knapp (Pitch Perfect, Phobias), The Accursed centers around Elly (Grey) who is asked by a family friend (Suvari) to spend a few days looking after an elderly woman (Foster) living in a remote cabin. She eagerly accepts the offer, thinking that she could do with a pleasant getaway in the woods. Unfortunately for her, the cabin proves to be anything but relaxing, and Elly soon starts to experience hallucinations blending her dreams with reality. As the visions gradually tighten their grip on her, Elly realizes that she has in fact been lured there by a demonic presence lurking inside the woman, waiting for the perfect opportunity to unleash itself.

The Accursed is unleashed in theaters and On Demand this October 14th and we’ll leave you with to enjoy the trailer beckoning you into the devil’s abode below.
