Retro Gaming Thrills Galore in ‘Max Reload and the Nether Blaster’

Prepare to get your retro game on as the action-packed comedy-adventure Max Reload and the Nether Blaster prepares to blast its way onto Blu-ray, DVD and Digital this coming January

Co-written and co-directed by Scott Conditt and Jeremy Tremp, brimming with references to cult classic movies from The Evil Dead to Mallrats, and boasting a huge ensemble cast including Hassie Harrison (Yellowstone), Joey Morgan (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse), Joseph Reitman (Happy!), Greg Grunberg (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), Kevin Smith (Clerks), Lin Shaye (Insidious), Martin Kove (The Karate Kid), Jesse Kove (Cobra Kai), Wil Wheaton (The Big Bang Theory) and rising star Tom Plumley, Max Reload and the Nether Blasters sees small-town video game store clerk Max Jenkins discover the legendary lost instalment of the Nether Game series, accidentally unleashing the ancient “Curse of the Ages” which turns friends and family into possessed ghouls hell-bent on destroying civilisation. Along with a mysterious masked man and his two best friends, Liz and Reggie, Max must fathom out how to beat the dark forces of The Nether before it’s game over for humanity.
