The Field Guide to Evil Horror Anthology Officially Greenlit and Aspires to Reach Stretch Goal

A brand new horror anthology going by the name of The Field Guide to Evil, from the creators of the cult classic ABCs of Death series, is currently running a first-of-its-kind equity crowd-funding campaign on First Democracy VC, a funding portal brought through a partnership between Indiegogo and MicroVentures.

From producers Ant Timpson (Turbo Kid, The Greasy Strangler) and Alamo Drafthouse CEO/Founder Tim League (ABCs of Death) and under the Executive Production of Christos V. Konstantakopoulos (Before Midnight, The Lobster), Keith and Jess Calder (Anomalisa, Blair Witch, You’re Next) and Legion M, The Field Guide to Evil will take audiences on a global exploration into dark folklore, featuring eight terrifying tales from some of the world’s most exciting and promising new voices in international filmmaking: Veronika Franz & Severin Fiala (Goodnight Mommy), Peter Strickland (The Duke of Burgundy), Katrin Gebbe (Nothing Bad Can Happen), Yannis Veslemes (Norway), Ashim Ahluwalia (Miss Lovely), Agnieszka Smoczynska (The Lure), Can Evrenol (Baskin) and Calvin Reeder (The Rambler).

Having now reached its minimum fundraising goal, and the project accordingly officially greenlit, the film’s producers hope to attract additional fans as well as other industry-seasoned financiers to join the team over the course of the remaining 44 days of the campaign left to reach the $500,000 stretch goal. For full details on how you can become involved, head on over to the Indiegogo & MicroVentures campaign here and be sure to head over to the film’s official site and Twitter account to keep up to date with all new developments.
