Get Spying On First ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ Trailer

With 20th Century Fox confirming a 17 October UK and Ireland release date for Kingsman: The Secret Service the first trailer has been unveiled.

No newcomer to actioners, director Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class, Kick-Ass) brings Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) to the big screen as a veteran secret agent assigned to teach an unrefined young protégé all there is to know about the world of espionage.

The screenplay was written by Vaughn with co-writer Jane Goldman, based upon the comic book from Kick-Ass writer and Watchmen artist, Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons respectively.

Whilst Rowan Atkinson’s Johnny English sprang to mind when we first got word of Firth starring as super spy, the first trailer suggests Kingsman will be a bird of a completely different feather. The action scenes look stunning, with gizmos aplenty, and the ensemble cast list is nothing short of perfect: Samuel L. Jackson (Captain America: The First Avenger), Taron Egerton (The Smoke, Lewis) and Michael Caine (The Dark Knight Rises).

Enjoy the trailer below and let us know what you think.
