Last Passenger Trailer Leaves the Station

The kinetic thriller Last Passenger, from first-time feature film director Omid Nooshin gets ready to pull in to UK cinemas after its “pitch trailer” was swiftly snapped up by investors recently. To celebrate the train closing in on the platform, Kaleidoscope Entertainment have released a full trailer for the film today.

Whilst Nooshin’s dream project was almost never to be, simply because he had only directed adverts and short films and no one was willing to take such a big risk with a newcomer, the director refused to give up and spent £500 on a 90-second trailer to promote his idea online. As soon as he unleashed the video on the internet he was instantly flooded with interest from various film studios, agents and investors around the world. Fast forward to now and the film is almost ready for UK audiences as it releases on October the 18th.

In a similar vein to action thriller Speed, Last Passenger is set on a sabotaged train and stars Dougray Scott as Lewis Shaler, an overworked doctor and devoted single dad on his way home on the last train from London with his young son Max. Along the way he quickly strikes up a friendship with a flirtatious fellow passenger, played by ex-Eastender, Kara Tointon. Whilst the lead characters believe themselves to be on a perfectly routine journey, Lewis discovers that the ticket collector has suddenly vanished and that someone has tampered with the train’s brakes.

With the last passengers’ options running out Lewis and the handful of other everyday commuters will stop at nothing to stop the train before whoever tampered with the brakes achieves what he set out to do.

We filmed interviews with the film’s stars, Dougray Scott and Kara Tointon recently which we’ll be sharing very soon, but for the moment we’ll leave you to enjoy the trailer below.
