‘V/H/S/Halloween’ Trailer Teases A Nightmarish Journey Through the Dark Heart of All Hallows’ Eve

Shudder has just dropped a teaser trailer for V/H/S/Halloween, the eighth installment in the iconic V/H/S franchise. Since its chilling debut in 2012, the V/H/S series has become a beacon for fans of twisted, found-footage horror, pushing the envelope of fear, creativity, and visceral terror. Now, over a decade later, V/H/S/Halloween promises to take us on a dark, blood-soaked journey through the very heart of Halloween night itself.

The latest film in this wildly successful anthology series brings a Halloween-themed collection of disturbing videotapes, each one promising to turn trick-or-treating into a fight for survival.

As with every V/H/S installment, V/H/S/Halloween compiles a series of nightmarish stories, each one helmed by different directors. This time around, the following filmmakers will be taking us on their own specially curated rides through the underbelly of All Hallows’ Eve:

DIET PHANTASMA directed by Bryan M. Ferguson (Dysphonia)

FUN SIZE directed by Casper Kelly (Buddy)

HOME HAUNT directed by Micheline Pitt-Norman & R.H. Norman (Cosmetic)

KIDPRINT directed by Alex Ross Perry (Videoheaven)

UT SUPRA SIC INFRA directed by Paco Plaza ([REC], Verónica)

COOCHIE COOCHIE COO directed by Anna Zlokovic (Appendage)

V/H/S/Halloween will first haunt the screens at Austin’s Fantastic Fest before slinking onto Shudder on October 3rd – bound to be a chilling centerpiece of the festival’s eerie lineup.

Whether you’re a fan of the franchise or a newcomer to the V/H/S series, this latest installment will ensure that your Halloween is filled with nightmares you won’t soon forget.
