Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer for The Bluff, a tale of family, treachery, and high-seas adventure starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas (“Citadel”) opposite Karl Urban (“The Boys”). The film is produced by Anthony & Joe Russo, the directors of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, whose experience with large-scale action sequences is clearly evident in the trailer’s huge staged set pieces.
Directed by Frank E. Flowers (Bob Marley: One Love), who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff also sees Chopra Jonas stepping into a producing role alongside the Russos, Angela Russo-Otstot, Michael Disco, Cisely Saldana, and Mariel Saldana. Executive producers include Flowers, Ballarini, Zoe Saldana, Chris Castaldi, Ari Costa, Kassee Whiting, and Thorsten Schumacher.
Set against the dramatic cliffs and hidden coves of Cayman Brac, the story follows Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden (Chopra Jonas), a former pirate whose past comes roaring back when her former captain, Connor (Urban), resurfaces. The supporting cast includes Ismael Cruz Córdova (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Safia Oakley-Green (The Color Purple), and Vedanten Naidoo.
The Bluff drops anchor on Prime Video on 25 February 2026 – and for now, feast your eyes on the trailer, me hearties.
