Revenge gets ripped today as A24 have debuted the first official trailer for Love Lies Bleeding from Rose Glass, the singular mind behind Saint Maud.
Directed by Glass, from a script she co-write with Weronika Tofilska, and starring Kristen Stewart (Crimes of the Future, Spencer), Katy O’Brian (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, “The Mandalorian”), Jena Malone (Antebellum, The Neon Demon), Anna Baryshnikov (“Dickinson”) with Dave Franco (The Disaster Artist, “The Afterparty”) and Ed Harris (Top Gun: Maverick, “Westworld”) , this electric love story chronicles how reclusive gym manager Lou falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.
Stewart first mentioned her involvement in the film in March 2022, as she was a fan of Glass’ previous work, Saint Maud. Love Lies Bleeding is a co-production between A24 and Film4 and will release in theaters on March 8 2024.
