Prime Video’s ‘DEEP COVER’: London Criminal Underworld Comedy Stills Reveal Undercover Chaos

Prime Video has just revealed the first sneak peek stills for Deep Cover, a new action comedy that throws viewers into the heart of London’s criminal underworld. Directed by Tom Kingsley (The Heart of the City, Stath Lets Flats), the film features a script by Derek Connolly (Jurassic World, Kong: Skull Island), Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World, Safety Not Guaranteed), Ben Ashenden, and Alexander Owen, with Trevorrow, Walter F. Parkes (Catch Me If You Can, Gladiator), and Laurie MacDonald (Minority Report, The Terminal) producing.

Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World, The Help, Rocketman) leads the cast as Kat, an improv teacher who gets roped into an undercover operation. She’s joined by Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Nick Mohammed (“Ted Lasso,” “Avenue 5”), playing her enthusiastic (and perhaps slightly clueless) students, Marlon and Hugh. The trio’s mission? Infiltrate London’s gang scene by pretending to be ruthless criminals. The trailer shows them quickly spiraling into a series of chaotic and hilarious situations.

The film also features Paddy Considine (The Outsider, The Third Day), Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina, Crazy Rich Asians), and supporting roles from Ian McShane (“Deadwood,” John Wick) and Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings, “Game of Thrones”). Set against London’s gritty streets, Deep Cover looks set to deliver a fast-paced mix of high-stakes action and outrageous comedy as this unlikely trio takes on the city’s toughest criminals.
