Power Struggles and New Threats: “Mayor of Kingstown” Season Four Trailer and Key Art Revealed

Paramount+ has officially released the trailer and key art for the highly anticipated fourth season of “Mayor of Kingstown,” set to premiere globally on Sunday, October 26th. The crime drama series, which has garnered a dedicated following, stars Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Edie Falco in lead roles.

“Mayor of Kingstown” follows the tumultuous world of Mike McLusky, played by Renner, a man tasked with maintaining order in a town dominated by prisons, corruption, and power struggles. Co-created by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the series continues to explore themes of lawlessness, family, and survival, with the stakes raised even higher in season four.

In the new season, Mike faces increasing challenges as his control over Kingstown is threatened by new players vying to fill the power vacuum left by the departure of the Russians. As a result, he is forced to confront an escalating gang war, with the future of the town hanging in the balance. Meanwhile, Mike’s personal life becomes even more complicated, as the people he cares about find themselves in greater danger. To navigate these new threats, Mike must deal with a headstrong new Warden while also confronting painful ghosts from his past.

Alongside Renner and Falco, “Mayor of Kingstown” features a talented ensemble cast, including BAFTA Award winner Lennie James, Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, Hugh Dillon, Taylor Handley, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Nishi Munshi.

The series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Hugh Dillon, Jeremy Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Dave Erickson, Christoph Schrewe, Wendy Riss, Evan Perazzo, and Keith Cox. Erickson also serves as the showrunner for the series.

Produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions, “Mayor of Kingstown” continues to be a key title in Sheridan’s growing slate of shows on Paramount+, which also includes “Yellowstone”, “1923”, “Tulsa King”, “Landman”, “Lawmen: Bass Reeves”, “1883”, and the upcoming “NOLA King”, starring Samuel L. Jackson.

Seasons 1-3 of Mayor of Kingstown are currently available for streaming exclusively on Paramount+, giving fans the chance to catch up before the launch of season four.
