Netflix Reveals First Images and Release Date for Edgy Revenge Series “BEEF” Starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong

Netflix has just revealed a selection of first look images and the release date for the forthcoming 10-episode edgy, revenge series “Beef” from Creator/Showrunner/Executive Producer Lee Sung Jin (“Dave”, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) and A24.

Starring Oscar Nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Nope, Burning), comedy darling and Emmy Nominee Ali Wong (Baby Cobra, Always Be My Maybe), Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choe, and Patti Yasutake, this high-stakes and propulsive tale follows the aftermath of a road rage incident between two strangers as Danny Cho (Yeun), a failing contractor with a chip on his shoulder, goes head-to-head with Amy Lau (Ali Wong), a self-made entrepreneur with a picturesque life. The increasing stakes of the feud between these two deeply unsatisfied people who are looking for connection unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series.

The series also features recurring cast members Maria Bello (Jordan Forster), Ashley Park (Naomi), Justin H. Min, Mia Serafino, Remy Holt (Junie)

Various episodes of the series are directed by Jake Schreier (“Brand New Cherry Flavour”, “Thunderbolts”), Hikari (“Tokyo Vice”) and Lee Sung Jin and the show is Executive Produced by Yeun, under his Universal Remote banner, Wong, and Jake Schreier.

“Beef” launches on Netflix on April 6th and to whet your appetite for this smart and comedic revenge fable, we’ll leave you with the aforementioned first stills from the show.
