Hold On To Your Body Parts. Patrick Lussier’s ‘PLAY DEAD’ Coming to Icon Film Channel and Select UK Cinemas

Kaleidoscope Entertainment released the official UK trailer for Patrick Lussier‘s (Drive Angry, My Bloody Valentine) taut shocker, Play Dead last week, and today the news has dropped that the film will premiere in the UK exclusively on the Icon Film Channel from 13th February, before releasing in selected UK cinemas on 17th March.

Directed by Lussier, from a script penned by Hangman and The Visitor writing duo Simon Boyes and Adam Mason, and starring Bailee Madison (Good Witch, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) and Jerry O’Connell (Scream 2, Billions), Play Dead follows criminology student Chloe (Madison), who fakes her own death so she can break into a morgue and steal evidence she needs in order to save her brother from the consequences of a botched crime. But, much to her chagrin, no sooner does she get in than she learns that a sadistic coroner is using the corpses for his sick and twisted business: selling body parts. When he realises that Chloe still has a pulse, a terrifying game of cat and mouse ensues.

Play Dead premieres on the Icon Film Channel from 13th February before releasing in selected UK cinemas from 17th March. The film will go on to release on DVD and Digital on 17 April. In the meanwhile, we’ll leave you with the aforementioned trailer for Lussier’s bold and original entry into the horror genre.
