Exploring the Genre-Defying Mayhem of ‘RED RIGHT HAND’: Insider Interviews with Cast and Crew

In cinemas and on VOD tomorrow, 23 February 2024, brace yourself for the gritty, genre-defying mayhem of Red Right Hand. Directed by Eshom and Ian Nelms (Fatman, Small Town Crime) and starring Orlando Bloom (Gran Turismo, Troy), Andie MacDowell (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Ready or Not), Scott Haze (Jurassic World: Dominion, Antlers, Venom), Chapel Oaks (Pain Hustlers), and Garret Dillahunt (The Last House on the Left, Ambulance, Army of the Dead), this intense revenge ride blurs the lines between good and evil, light and dark.

When a ruthless crime boss dragoons hesitant hero Cash (Bloom) back into her thralls, he must rise to the occasion to defend his recently orphaned neice and their small Appalachian town. To save his makeshift family, Cash realizes he’s capable of anything – even murder. As his drive for vengeance drags him deeper into the criminal rabbit hole, Cash is forced to grapple with his own humanity.

Ahead of the film’s release (where to watch details here), CinemaChords’ Howard Gorman sat down with the Nelms brothers and one of the stars, Scott Haze. They discussed balancing the film’s dark and poignant themes of addiction, religion and parenthood to create an unforgettable, high-stakes revenge thriller.
