Electrifying First-Look Images Revealed for Prime Video’s Sci-Fi Thriller Series “The Power”

Prime Video has unveiled a selection of first-look images for the forthcoming series “The Power”. This emotionally driven, global thriller from SISTER (“Chernobyl”) is based on British author Naomi Alderman’s award-winning eponymous novel, and will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in March.

From showrunner Raelle Tucker (“True Blood”), and starring Toni Collette (Nightmare Alley, Knives Out), John Leguizamo (Violent Night, John Wick), Auli’i Cravalho (Moana), Toheeb Jimoh (“Ted Lasso”), Josh Charles (Dead Poets Society, “We Own This City”), Eddie Marsan (21 Grams, Filth), Ria Zmitrowicz (“Three Girls”, Misbehaviour), Zrinka Cvitešić (“London Spy”), and Halle Bush, “The Power” is our world, but for one twist of nature. Suddenly, and without warning, teenage girls develop the power to electrocute people at will. The series features a cast of remarkable characters from London to Seattle, Nigeria to Eastern Europe, as the Power evolves from a tingle in teenagers’ collarbones to a complete reversal of the power balance of the world.

The series has an all-female writers room, which includes Claire Wilson, Sarah Quintrell, Whit Anderson, Stacy Osei-Kuffour, and Rebecca Levene. Quintrell also serves as co-executive producer and story consultant.

“The Power” will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in March and we’ll leave you with the aforementioned first-look images below.
