Dark Sky Films Drops Trailer for Forthcoming Supernatural Transformation Shocker ‘BOOGER’

Dark Sky Films has today announced the release of their latest film, Booger, which will premiere in select theaters and on digital platforms and VOD on September 13, 2024. In anticipation of the release, the official trailer has also dropped today.

This acclaimed debut feature from writer-director Mary Dauterman is a one-of-a-kind blend of body horror and comedy in a story of intense female friendship and its tragic loss, all backgrounded by a tale of supernatural transformation. Booger follows New Yorker Anna (Grace Glowicki, Strawberry Mansion), who is left reeling after her best friend and roommate, Izzy (Sofia Dobrushin, Mean Girls 2024) unexpectedly dies in a bike accident, and her cat escapes. Struggling to put the pieces back together, as Anna turns her life upside down looking for Izzy’s lost pet, a gnarly cat bite results in terrifying physical changes.

The cast is rounded out with Garrick Bernard (Single Drunk Female)Marcia DeBonis (Sometimes I Think About Dying, 13 Going on 30)David Rysdahl (Oppenheimer, “Fargo”and indie icon Heather Matarazzo (Welcome to the Dollhouse, Scream 3).

Booger is produced by Lexi Tannenholtz (Shudder’s Bad Things) and executive produced by Neon Heart Productions (Cora Bora), Ley Line Entertainment (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Sanctuary Content, One Two Twenty Entertainment (Joyland) and Lizzie Shapiro (Shiva Baby).
