Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2023 – Batch 8

After a brief hiatus over the Easter break, we’re back with another edition of Noteworthy Nods: Howard Gorman‘s weekly selection of the sizzliest of bangers that have been brought to our attention either via streaming services or our frequent readers. As always, the sheer quantity of quality releases has made it near impossible to trim the list down to just a few favourites so you’re all in for yet another bumper selection again this week.

Last week’s jump-out tracks included releases from the likes of The Cheap ThrillsThe Public EyeThe CavsDEADLETTER, and Tribes (which you can still enjoy here). And today’s curated cuts comprise a total of 22 new tracks, including new drops from the likes of Rosborough, The Gulps, Acrylic, Red Shakes, The Sherlocks, The Mercians, Seb Lowe, Lock-In and The Kairos.

As always, our mission here is to shed a bit more light on emerging talent, so we also encourage you to support any of the music you enjoy here. It takes nothing but a few seconds to spread the word on social media, whether it be a tweet, or even just a retweet, and it doesn’t cost a penny but is worth its weight in gold for all the musicians out there. As we said, please don’t stop those suggestions/reccs coming, and would love to hear them over on  InstagramFacebook, or Twitter. You can also contact me directly on Twitter here. My DM door is always wide open.

So, without further ado, here we go with round 8 of CinemaChords’ Noteworthy Nods Playlist of the year:

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist below featuring the likes of Turin BrakesEmbraceThe Slow Readers ClubThe SherlocksStanleysThe K’sThe NativeThe Clause, and many more.
