Ballerina Trailer Drops: John Wick Spin-Off Follows Eve Macarro’s Assassin Training

The wait is almost over! A brand-new trailer and images have just dropped for Ballerina, the latest chapter in the John Wick universe, set to hit cinemas in the UK on June 6, 2025. If you’ve been craving more of the pulse-pounding, high-stakes action that’s made John Wick a global phenomenon, Ballerina is here to deliver.

Set during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Ballerina introduces Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas, No Time to Die, Knives Out), a young woman who embarks on a dangerous journey to master the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Prepare for a tale of grit, determination, and intense training, as Eve delves deeper into the lethal world that ties her to the legendary John Wick himself.

The film boasts an incredible cast, including the legendary Anjelica Huston (The Addams Family, “Transparent”), Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects, Hereditary), Lance Reddick (John Wick series, “Bosch”), Catalina Sandino Moreno (Maria Full of Grace, The Burning Plain), and Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead”). Not to mention, fans can look forward to appearances from Ian McShane (Deadwood, John Wick) and Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick), further tying this thrilling adventure to the action-packed universe we know and love.

Directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard), and written by Shay Hatten (Army of the Dead, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum), Ballerina promises to bring all the adrenaline and breathtaking choreography we’ve come to expect. With John Wick creator Derek Kolstad behind the characters, this film is bound to add a fresh and exciting layer to the saga.

Produced by Basil Iwanyk (The Expendables), Erica Lee (The Informer), and Chad Stahelski (John Wick series), Ballerina looks set to be another heart-stopping entry into the ever-expanding John Wick franchise.

Ballerina arrives in cinemas on June 6, 2025. It’ll be interesting to see how the film adds to the John Wick legacy and whether it can bring something new to the table.
