The Afflicted trailer CBS Films has just released opts to jump all over the shop rather than follow the lead characters’ trip around the world in chronological order.
A risky decision but it works a treat!
If this new trailer is anything to go by it looks like we’re in for an impressive directorial debut from best friends, writer-director duo, Derek Lee and Clif Prowse, who also co-star. The film finds the aforementioned duo setting off on a globe-trotting journey, ducumenting their adventures on film. Before long, one of them has a close encounter with a rather attractive woman (Baya Rehaz) who converts him into a vampire.
Having taken home the prize as Best Horror film, screenplay and director at Fantastic Fest, and earning awards of recognition at both the Toronto International Film Festival and Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, Afflicted is definitely not one to be missed when its online and theatrical release arrives in the US this 4th April.

Synopsis:
