Briarcliff Entertainment has unwrapped the official trailer for Christmas At The Kringles, a horror-comedy directed by Kevin Lewis (Willy’s Wonderland, Pig Hill) and written by Zack Imbrogno (Slayers).
The film stars Rachel Bilson (Jumper, “Hart of Dixie”), Ron Livingston (Office Space, The Conjuring), Rob Riggle (Bad Man, Don’t Move) and Thomas Lennon (“Reno 911!”, Destroy All Neighbors) in an ensemble cast.
Christmas At The Kringles follows the Seversons, a family starting over in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Their new next-door neighbors, the Kringles, celebrate Christmas year-round, initially making their constant holiday festivities seem charming.
That changes as Mark and Julie become concerned about their son’s growing attachment to the Kringle family. Following a heated confrontation, Mark heads next door to bring his family home, where he discovers the Kringles’ intentions: to hypnotize and indoctrinate the Seversons.
Mark is forced into a life-or-death rescue mission, teaming with a rogue Santa as they attempt to save his family in an action-driven showdown.
Lewis said of the film: “They say the best Christmas gifts aren’t wrapped — they’re felt. I hope audiences feel every ounce of joy, madness and Christmas magic in this extended look at the gonzo, bonkers sleigh ride that is ‘Christmas At The Kringles.’ Buckle up — we’re coming to a chimney near you.”
The film is produced by Andrew Ortenberg, Tom Ortenberg, Liam Finn, Lewis and Jordan Dykstra.
Christmas At The Kringles is set to open exclusively in theaters on October 30.
