Lightbulb Film Distribution Reveals Poster and Release Date for British Farcical Comedy ‘A FAMILY AFFAIR’

Lightbulb Film Distribution is gearing up to release their latest comedy feature, Warren Fischer‘s hilarious British farce A Family Affair and has today released the official poster for the film along with a selection of first-look stills.

Directed and written by Fischer, produced by Joan Lane (The King’s Speech), and boasting an all-star cast including Joe Wilkinson (“After Life,” “Sex Education”), Laura Aikman (“Not Going Out,” “Gavin and Stacey”), Colin Hoult (“After Life,” “Life’s Too Short”) and the iconic Jane Asher (Death at a Funeral, Alfie), the film centers around a cash-strapped hotel manager (Wilkinson) who must fend off wealthy buyers looking to purchase his hotel, all while hosting an anniversary party for his difficult in-laws.

Peter Thompson, Sales & Acquisitions Director at Lightbulb Film Distribution, raves that the film is “a hilarious, farcical comedy, guaranteed to bring a smile to audience faces. Joe Wilkinson is a household name in comedy and he shines in his debut film lead role, evoking memories of John Cleese in Fawlty Towers.”

With its star-studded cast, veteran production team, and tried-and-true comedic setup reminiscent of the glory days of beloved Britcoms, A Family Affair promises to bring big laughs to audiences when it releases across major digital platforms in the UK and Ireland on May 20.
