Hijinks and havoc guaranteed as ‘VACATION FRIENDS 2’ confirmed to land this August

20th Century Studios‘ laugh-out-loud sequel, Vacation Friends 2 promises to deliver another healthy dose of hilarity this summer when hit premieres this coming 25 August exclusively on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories. Director Clay Tarver and stars John Cena, Lil Rel Howery, Yvonne Orji and Meredith Hagner all return for the sequel, along with the addition of new castmates Carlos Santos, Ronny Chieng, Jamie Hector and Steve Buscemi.

This raucous sequel will pick up just months after the events of Vacation Friends with newlyweds Marcus (Howery) and Emily (Orji) inviting their uninhibited best friends Ron (Cena) and Kyla (Hagner), who are also newlyweds with a new baby in tow, to join them on holiday after Marcus wins an all-expenses-paid trip to a Caribbean resort. His reason for travelling there in the first place is to meet with the owners of the resort so he can make an offer on a construction contract for a hotel they own in Chicago. But when Kyla’s incarcerated father Reese (Buscemi) is released from San Quentin and shows up unannounced at the worst possible time, things quickly spiral out of control, throwing a spanner in Marcus’ best-laid plans and turning the vacationing friends’ perfect getaway into full-on mayhem.

The film is produced by Todd Garner and Stuart Besser and debuts this August 25 exclusively on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories.
