Teaser Trailer Revealed for Netflix LGBTQ Series “Heartstopper”

Netflix has today revealed the trailer for its highly-anticipated 8-half hour episode first season of the romantic LGBTQ drama series “Heartstopper.”

Created by Alice Oseman, helmed by Euros Lyn, and starring Joe Locke, Kit Connor, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, “Heartstopper” relates the tale of gentle Charlie and rugby-loving Nick who form an unlikely friendship at secondary school that soon blossoms into an unexpected romance. Charlie, Nick, and their circle of friends must navigate the ever-relatable journey of self-discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.

The series is based on Alice Oseman’s much-loved Tumblr, Webtoon, and Tapas available webcomic of the same name, which has continued to amass legions of loyal readers since it was first published in 2016. Six years and four physical volumes later, Netflix subscribers will finally get to see Nick and Charlie on screen when “Heartstopper” bows on Netflix this coming April 22, 2022. Until then, we’ll leave you with today’s teaser trailer for the show.
