In Order of Disappearance get’s a trailer

Brutal, breezy and brilliant spring to mind after witnessing the latest trailer from director Hans Peter Moland (Aberdeen, A Somewhat Gentle Man) – In Order of Disappearance (Kraftidioten).

Written by Kim Fupz Aakeson, the film is set on the snow covered mountains of Norway. As citizen of the year and dedicated snow plow Nils (Stellan Skarsgard) is told the dreadful news that his son Ingvar is dead his quite like is turned upside down. As his death gets pushed upon the poor of drug-overdosed young adults, Nils becomes determined to get answers and find out exactly what happened to Ingvar. Nils then discovers it was in fact a drug deal gone wrong and decides to work his way up the chain of command until he reaches the man who have the order in the first place. This becomes a full blown war between mobsters and snow plows – and yrs this is a comedy. Despite the sheet amount of punches thrown and guns fired in this short snippet it is also very apparent this is a dark crime fuelled comedy. Along side Skarsgard (Thor, Nymphomaniac)  we have Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones), Bruno Ganz (Downfall), Jakib Oftebro and Brigitte Hjort Sorensen (Borgen).

This could very well be Norways answer to Fargo! Have a look at the trailer and see if you think this is one for you. Coming to cinemas 12th September, 2014, In Order of Disappearance looks very intriguing and most importantly funny!
