Militarie Gun Share “Will Logic” – Third Single From Imminent Debut Album, “Life Under The Gun”

Fresh from playing a live session for Dan P Carter’s Radio 1 Rock Show last night, Los Angeles’ hardcore project Militarie Gun have today released ‘Will Logic’, the third single lifted from their incoming debut album ‘Life Under The Gun’, which releases on 23 June via Loma Vista Recordings.

Commenting on their latest release, frontman Ian Shelton said: “’Will Logic’ is meant to be pure spite, it’s the moment of realisation that someone is trying to take advantage of you and deciding you won’t allow it to happen. There’s some melancholy and fatigue in there, though ultimately it’s a desire for the world to be trustworthy.”

Following their widely celebrated first ever gigs in the UK in support of post-hardcore supergroup Fiddlehead last year, and an electrifying set fuelled by stage invasions at Manchester’s Outbreak, the band returned to these shores last week for sold-out shows at The George Tavern and Great Escape, each further testament to the band’s continued rise to the top.

Ahead of a series of US dates with Santa Cruz’ Scowl later this year, Militarie Gun will be back in Europe this summer to play various festivals, including a second consecutive year at Outbreak, Kliko, Roskilde, Metropolis, 2000 Trees, Ieper, a Rough Trade instore and signing, and a support spot for post-hardcore luminaries Rival Schools, including their London headline slot at the Electric Ballroom.

“Life Under The Gun” is available to pre-order now on limited edition vinyl, CD, and cassette here and will include the previously-released singles “Do It Faster,” which arrived with a video directed by Shelton and “Very High,” which arrived with a Mason Mercer-directed music video emulating early 2000s teen drama intros.
