Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2023 – Batch 17

It’s Thursday again, which can only mean one thing: we’re back with another fresh crop of the best new releases that have come our way, either directly on streaming platforms or thanks to suggestions from our regular readers. As always, there has been such an abundance of quality releases that we can’t even begin to stress just how grateful we are for all of your recommendations and/or submissions to our weekly ‘Noteworthy Nods’ playlist.

Highlights from last week included tracks from the likes of  of Dirty BlondeMichael BakerTRASHCLUBDutch MustardThe SheratonsDeeper and Fiddlehead – all of which you can catch up on over here if you missed it. And this week’s playlist features hot-off-the-press bangers from artists such as STONE, Tom Meighan, Coach Party, Gazelle, and Neon Waltz, together with a so-much-more-than-worth-the-wait brand-new single from Ash, which was dropped with the totally unexpected news that the band will be releasing their 8th studio LP this September.

We hope you enjoy this week’s essentials as much as we have been doing. As always, be sure to drop us a tweet to let us (and, more importantly, the artists) know which tracks you’ve bookmarked to put on repeat play.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist below featuring the likes of Turin BrakesEmbraceThe SherlocksStanleysThe K’sThe NativeThe Clause, and many more.

It’s time to sign off but don’t be a stranger! Please do send any recommendations or track submissions to us over on Twitter and Instagram. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy the tracks we’ve picked out for you this week.
