Your biggest fear just got bigger in First Official Trailer for Kiah Roache-Turner’s Spider Shocker ‘STING’

Drop your popcorn and grab a flamethrower, because the creepiest, crawliest horror flick of 2024 is about to unleash eight-legged terror upon audiences everywhere.

Sting, which crawls into theaters on May 31st, stars Ryan Corr (“House of the Dragon”) and Alyla Browne (Furiosa) as a brother-sister duo battling a ginormous, building-scaling arachnoid in the heart of the Big Apple. We’re talking hyper-realistic spindly legs, salivating fangs, and human-gobbling appetites brought to skin-crawling life by the visual effects masters at Weta Workshop, the team behind The Lord of the Rings.

When a mysterious egg crashes through the window of their rundown NYC apartment, 12-year-old comic book nerd Charlotte (Browne) discovers and adopts the strange spider, naming it Sting. But this is no Charlotte’s Web situation. As Sting munches through the building’s pets and residents, growing exponentially, Charlotte realizes she’s the only one who can stop its ravenous rampage.

Directed by Kiah Roache-Turner (Wyrmwood), and co-starring horror vets Penelope Mitchell (Hellboy) and Robyn Nevin (Relic), Sting is guaranteed to spin heart-pounding thrills and chills when it releases later this year.
