Noteworthy Nods: Top 30 Tracks Of 2023

As seasoned CinemaChords readers will know, we’ve enjoyed listening to, reviewing and interviewing as many great musicians as possible over the past 12 months, all of whom are either serving as a life support system for the music industry, or are just one step away from breaking into the mainstream. With 2023 drawing to a close, the time has come to wade through every single batch of Noteworthy Nods to whittle down the hundreds of tracks we’ve discovered, thanks to all the recommendations we’ve received from readers and streaming platforms alike, to just 30.

Our purpose, as has always been the case with Noteworthy Nods, is not to come up with a definitive ranking of the year’s biggest hits, but rather to celebrate the songs that have continued to resonate with us long after their release despite the fact that we have been playing them on repeat for months.

So, without further ado, what follows are the top 30 tunes that have graced the Noteworthy Nods section over the course of 2023:

30: The Katuns – Addicted To The Internet (InstagramXFacebook)

29: Jango Flash – Tired Eyes (InstagramXFacebook)

28: Dead Pony – MANA (InstagramXFacebook)

27: Oya Paya – Operator (InstagramFacebook)

26: Shambolics – Everything You Should’ve Done (InstagramXFacebook)
