The Beginning of the End: ‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’ Trailer Promises a Chilling Revelation

The first chilling trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines has landed, and it’s a brutal return to the franchise’s blood-soaked roots. New Line Cinema is dragging us kicking and screaming back into Death’s twisted game, this time revealing the very genesis of its gruesome design.

Forget everything you thought you knew. This isn’t just another accident; it’s a deep dive into the primal, horrifying origins of Death’s elaborate traps. The trailer plunges us into the nightmare of Stefanie, a college student haunted by visions of impending doom. Driven by a relentless, recurring nightmare, she races against time to unravel a dark family secret, seeking the one person who might just hold the key to breaking Death’s deadly cycle.

Final Destination: Bloodlines boasts a stellar cast, led by Kaitlyn Santa Juana (The Friendship Game, “The Flash”), Teo Briones (“Chucky,” Will vs. the Future), Richard Harmon (The Age of Adaline, “The 100”), Owen Patrick Joyner (“Julie and the Phantoms,” 100 Things to do Before High School), and Anna Lore (They/Them, “Gotham Knights”). Adding to the star power are Brec Bassinger (“Stargirl,” “Bella and the Bulldogs”) and the legendary Tony Todd (Final Destination franchise, Candyman).

Behind the camera, the film is helmed by directors Adam Stein (Freaks, Kim Possible) and Zach Lipovsky (Freaks, Kim Possible), with a screenplay penned by Guy Busick (Ready or Not, Scream) and Lori Evans Taylor (Cellar Door, Bed Rest), based on a story by Jon Watts (Spider-man: No Way Home, Cop Car) and Guy Busick & Lori Evans Taylor, and characters created by Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination franchise).

Final Destination: Bloodlines is produced by Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, and Toby Emmerich. Executive producers include David Siegel and Warren Zide. The talented behind-the-scenes crew includes director of photography Christian Sebaldt (Resident Evil: Apocalypse, House on Haunted Hill), production designer Rachel O’Toole (“Upload,” The 9th Life of Louis Drax), editor Sabrina Pitre (Freaks, “Love, Death & Robots”), composer Tim Wynn (Freaks, “Supernatural”), costume designer Michelle Hunter (The Butterfly Effect, Fifty Shades of Grey), and casting director Rich Delia (“The Flash,” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem).

New Line Cinema presents A Practical Pictures / Freshman Year / Fireside Films Production: Final Destination: Bloodlines. The film will be distributed in theaters and IMAX worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, hitting theaters nationwide on May 16, 2025, and internationally beginning on May 14, 2025.
