Santa’s Got an Axe to Grind in Trailer for Joe Begos’ ‘CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS’

‘Twas less than one month before the release of Joe Begos‘ (Bliss, Almost Human) crazy holiday horror/no holds barred killer robot movie unlike any other, Christmas Bloody Christmas. All was still and calm until RLJE Films dropped the official trailer and artwork down the chimney for what is sure to become an annual festive favourite.

Written and directed by Begos, and starring Riley Dandy (That’s Amor), Sam Delich (Spiderhead), Jonah Ray Rodrigues (Satanic Hispanics, “Mystery Science Theater 3000”), Dora Madison (Alone with You), Jeremy Gardner (The Battery, After Midnight), with Jeff Daniel Phillips (The Munsters (2022), 3 From Hell) and Abraham Benrubi (Bliss, “ER”, The Belko Experiment), Christmas Bloody Christmas takes place on Christmas Eve, centering on fiery record store owner Tori Tooms who just wants to get drunk and party, until the robotic Santa Claus at a nearby toy store goes haywire and makes her night more than a little complicated. Santa Claus begins a rampant killing spree through the neon-drenched snowscape against a backdrop of drugs, sex, metal, and violence, ultimately forcing Tori into a blood-splattered battle for survival against the ruthless heavy metal Saint Nick with an axe to grind.

The film was produced by Joe Begos and Josh Ethier (Bliss and VFW) through their Channel 83 Films banner. Emily Gotto from Shudder and Ward and Betsy Rodgers from RLJE Films negotiated the deal with Channel 83 Films, Theo Vieljeux at DISSIDENT and Wayne Alexander of Alexander, Lawrence, Frumes & Labowitz, LLP.

Christmas Bloody Christmas will release In Theaters and on Shudder on December 9, 2022 and, in the meantime, we’ll leave you with the aforementioned trailer.
