Release Date and Teaser Images Revealed for Inspirational Drama ‘ORDINARY ANGELS’

Lionsgate has revealed a selection of first-look images (above) and the release date for the forthcoming inpirational drama feature Ordinary Angels, based on a remarkable true story and starring Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby, The Homesman) and Alan Ritchson (“Reacher,” Fast X).

Directed by Jon Gunn (Like Dandelion Dust, Mercy Streets), from a screenplay by Meg Tilly, Kelly Fremon Craig, Ordinary Angels centers on Sharon Steves (Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed Schmitt (Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels.

The cast is rounded out by Nancy Travis, Tamala Jones, Amy Acker, Drew Powell, Skywalker Hughes, and Emily Mitchell and is produced by Kevin Downes, Jon Berg, Roy Lee, Johnathan Dorfman, Dave Matthews, David Beal, Sarah Johnson, Jon Erwin and Andrew Erwin.

Ordinary Angels will release in theaters on 13 October, 2023.
